Isbrücker 2001:226 [ref. 26805] list as a synonym of geryi, but first reviser not stated. •Valid as Corydoras bolivianus Nijssen & Isbrücker 1983 -- (Burgess 1989:365 [ref. 12860]). •Synonym of Corydoras geryi Nijssen & Isbrücker 1983 -- (Isbrücker 2001:226 [ref. 26805], Reis in Reis et al. 2003:298 [ref. 27061]). = Corydoras geryi Nijssen & Isbrücker 1983.
