Etymologie:
punctatus (lat. = punktiert) in Anspielung auf das Punktemuster

Empfohlene Temperatur im Aquarium:

Weitere Angaben:
Dieser Art sehr ähnlich ist Corydoras julii.
Corydoras punctatus ist sehr variabel im Aussehen und daher ist es ohne Fundortangabe sehr schwer, diese Art zu bestimmen.
